Managed Care Committee
Identify topics and help coordinate training and technical assistance opportunities for NYS Council members on a range of policy and fiscal issues pertaining to implementation of behavioral health managed care.
Assist Council staff with preparation of responses to requests for public comment from state agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
Assist Council staff with the advancement of Association positions.
Advocate for association members on matters related to implementation of managed care in behavioral health settings.
Children’s Services Committee
Convene workgroup of NYS Council member agency representatives engaged in the provision of behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families.
Assist Council staff as they advocate for the unique needs of kids in the behavioral health system and the providers serving them.
Work with Council staff to respond to requests for comments from relevant state agencies on matters pertaining to continued reform of the children’s behavioral health system of care.
Hospital Issues Committee
Work with Council staff to highlight and advocate for the unique needs of our hospital-based members.
Advance the positions of our hospital-based members with government officials and lawmakers (as needed).
Respond to requests for comment on regulatory, policy and fiscal issues pertaining to hospital-based behavioral health providers and the consumers they serve.
