Time Sensitive re: Provider Relief Funds

May 27, 2020

Last week we sent all members a chart, put together by our colleagues at the National Council, that tracks recent federal allocations that have either gone out to  or are awaiting disbursement to healthcare providers.  The federal government is currently determining how to target Medicaid providers to receive a portion of the remaining COVID-19 Provider Relief Funds (highlighted in yellow on the cart we shared with you last week).

In an effort to potentially gain access to Provider Relief Funds, the National Council is collecting member-level information listed below via this secure data collection portal: https://learningcommunities.secure-platform.com/a/solicitations/1140/home (note: this link will go to an external secure site). The National Council will then submit the information requested below directly to HHS, and will not retain the data.

Requested Data:

·       TINs

·       Medicaid enrollment numbers

·       Medicaid 2018 and 2019 revenue

·       Total Revenue 2018 and 2019

·       Electronic bank account routing numbers

We believe this information could be critical to HHS’s distribution of funds to behavioral health providers. And while we have confirmed that HHS did in fact contact NYS Medicaid Director Donna Frescatore’s office seeking some information re: Medicaid providers in NYS, we need to collect this  information so we can amp up our advocacy.  For example, the administration is currently distributing $4.9b in Provider Relief Funds to skilled nursing facilities, based on their submission of this type of provider-level information to HHS by several national membership associations representing these providers.

Please complete and submit the form no later than Friday, May 29, 2020. Questions? Email policy@thenationalcouncil.org.

Please note: Submitting your information is not a guarantee that you will receive HHS funding.
